I along with many people have had this problem in terms of verifying our ‘My2k’ accounts. The issue I had was first of all that my email had gone to my junk email, and by time I had found it and clicked on it, I was told that it had expired and was now Invalid. Other have echoed similar issue around not receiving email at all (probably in junk also). To make thing even worse surrounding the issue the Reset Password for MY2k doesn’t work so it left many of us out luck and having to signup/re-sign in every time.
However, never fair, where there is a will there is a way. 2ksports has officially released a manual signup that takes care of this problem. Yes, its a little more work than we would like but it does solve the impending issue. Its a simple 3 step process: See below for the manual verification for My2k account.
Step 1. go to: https://www.nba2k.com/social/link
Step 2. Enter your “My2K” account name AND password
Step 3. When you verify you will get a screen that resembles the one below.
And that’s it! Your problems are solved!

Great, I learn about this only AFTER my account expires….
So for people who go through this step after the account expired and it still doesn't work (i.e. account is still expired) you now have two courses of action.
Option 1:
Contact LD2K on twitter. He is the Social Media Coordinator for 2kSports and has been handling much of the fanfare and confusion around account verification. It appears that he goes into the system manually and takes care of it. The only problem some users have found with this option is the sometimes long wait associate with it. Think about it, there are hundreds to thousands of people experiencing the same issue and you track all those people back to one person and you can imagine the queue that you are going to be put in before it is resolved.
Option 2 (proceed at your own risk):
This was the route I took. It basically involves deleting your account manually and then re adding it yourself. To accomplish this you want to go to and log in. After logging in you want to go to the top right corner and select the account settings from the upside down triangle/arrow. After selecting this scroll down the page and the last option available to you is Delete account. From here what you want to do is delete the account and then re-register via your game and console.
An there you have it. Choose your destiny and fulfill it at your own risk!

This is bullshit y wud 2k create something wats fucked up ive been a fan of 2k for years and now all i can say is there doing bullshit..i cant even get on my account an the reset passwrd wdnt evn do..smt i cnt wait for nba live to come back
