I have had a couple of email coming in asking about switching your pitching style form analog control to traditional button pushing. Rather than make the simple complicated I have included a quick how to below.
Switching from analog to button control pitching in MLB 2k11:
This can be accomplished by going to your controller set up,making sure that pitching is selected in controller setup and the simply switching you Total Control to Classic. Viola! And that’s it!

I am using the Pc version of the game and I can not access analog pitching at all. I dont see anything at all that says you total control to classic in the controller set up. Any suggestions?
Go to Options
2. Click "My Controller:
3. Click "Control Setup"
4. Scroll down to "swing"
5. Depress left stick (not left, right, up or down)
A new menu appears where you can adjust pitching and batting as you wish, to either total control OR classic. It WILL BE SAVED for any mode (franchise, exhibition, etc). Thanks to BSGPaul in @mlbmods for this one.
i don’t understand what you mean becayse i’m trying and i can’t switch to classic. help me out here
when you get to control setup, click the left thumbstick and then you can change the setting of the swing.
How can you change the icon’s action in the controler set up options
