In the past couple months I have received request about unlocking various Jordan’s. Because no two requests have been the same I have decided to dedicate a post to the “My Jordans” collection in NBA 2k11. In this article I will give a break down each Jordan by identifying each attribute it increases.
For those of you who might not know exactly what I am talking about when I referrer to the “My Jordans” feature, here is a quick synopsis Essentially the My Jordans feature allows the NBA 2k11 users to live out their wildest dreams and own every Air Jordan ever made. While I would love to say these were tangible rewards, this is not the case! Instead the team over at 2kSports has devised a setup where you are rewarded with various pairs of jordans for your hours of play. These Jordans are then able to be worn by your player in “My Player Mode” with the advantage of gaining various boosts depending on the Jordans you choose to equip.
NB: The pair you receive is not pre-determined by a task/challenge you complete. To explain why this is the case I have included a quote from Erick Boenisch, the Producer for NBA 2K11:
You’ll notice above that I referred to these shoes as ‘unlockable’ shoes. We’re not going to send you on a wild chase where you have to go perform various tasks to get access to the shoes. We’re simply going to reward you for playing the game. Every couple of hours of play, a new pair of shoes will be made available to you. You can be playing Quick Games, Association games, My Player, Online, whatever. Just play and the shoes will come.

I think i have figured it out too. It seems like it averages out to being unlocked somewhere around every 2 hours of total gameplay.
Is it 2 hours of in a actual game.
yeah because ive played this game for a good 2 months almost every day, and still have the same 4 shoes i had 2 months ago

you have to save user profile then exit the game it happened to me so ya go to options load/save user profile

i believe after you've acquired the shoe, you have to save it under a 'user profile'. unless you have your game in auto save.
yeah you get then on your game play in the actually playing time i have unlocked them all and thats how u do it by playing heaps

so to unlock every jordan you have to complete a certain amount of every attribute?

Just play/practice for approx 2 hrs (even if it just practicing shootarounds;I remember getting one right after exiting one of those lol). After you do get one, REMEMBER TO MANUALLY SAVE YOUR USER PROFILE. That way, you won’t magically lose those shoes. I know this cause I too was magically losing them until I started manually saving them.
