After spending only 14 months in Tennessee; in a surprise move USC brings Lane Kiffin back to South Carolina to replace his mentor Pete Carroll.
Kiffin however will not be leaving Tennessee alone. Also coming with him will be his father Monte Kiffin, a well respected defensive coach, and also USC assistant Ed Oregon. In an address to the Tennessee campus Kiffin stressed and made it known that the decision made was certainly not an easy one.
This move comes as a surprise to many and was first reported by ESPN.
